Support the Williamston Theatre!

I have been a volunteer at the Williamston Theatre since returning to Michigan over two years ago. In September 2014, I was invited to join the Williamston Theatre Board of Directors and am currently serving as Secretary. I also write for Williamston Today and love covering the theatre productions. Meeting the director, cast and crew is a treat! I love contributing to the theatre and my town community. In high school, I acted in the musical productions and also helped with theatre sets and make-up for various shows. Some of my fondest memories include not only performing these shows for audiences but the lifelong friendships I made during these events. I have found myself at home at the Williamston Theatre and feel it is truly MY theatre. I love helping in any way possible, including opening night festivities and serving on the Board. I appreciate the friendships that have come out of this endeavor. And most of all, I am grateful for such artistic talent and expression to be performed and shared at this theatre in my hometown.

I really want to help the theatre continue to grow and thrive in our community. To do this, I must ask for your help. I have set what I hope is an attainable goal to raise $500.00 for the theatre this Holiday season. I know this time of year often includes additional expenses, however it is also the season of giving. Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Williamston Theatre. What does the Williamston Theatre do? They tell stories. They impact our community. They touch hearts. They change lives. The Williamston Theatre has made it to Season Ten - an amazing accomplishment during these economically challenging times - achieved through prudent management and a dedication to excellence. Just last year, the American Theatre Wing recognized our little theatre as one of the 12 most promising up-and-coming theatres in the entire country. By becoming a donor to the Williamston Theatre, you will help the Williamston Theatre to continue to bring joy to people through high quality, theatrical storytelling, create important jobs for Michigan artists, and preserve the unique voice of the Midwest. And you will help them meet a $10,000 challenge match that has been pledged by one of their major donors.
